North West Norfolk Lib Dem parliamentary candidate William Summers has today given his backing to the Every Disabled Child Matters election pledge.
The pledge states:
In my role as MP for North West Norfolk constituency, and as a supporter of the Every Disabled Child Matters campaign, I will: 1. Meet with disabled children, young people and their families to discuss key issues of concern to them 2. Raise these issues of concern, and promote rights and resources for of disabled children, young people and families from my constituency in Parliament 3. Visit local services for disabled children and their families on a regular basis 4. Support measures to improve services for disabled children and their families 5. Find out how funding is being used in my constituency to improve services for disabled children, young people and their families
Commenting, William Summers said: “I am really pleased to offer my support to this worthwhile campaign. If I am elected as MP for North West Norfolk I will certainly do my best to stand up for the needs of local children with disabilities and fight for better services for them and their families.”
